Live Your Life Extraordinarily

by Cindy Wood Realty Group

Live your life extraordinarily

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately,

to front only the essential facts of life,

and see if I could not learn what it had to teach,

and not when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

I did not wish to live what was not life,

living is so dear; nor did I wish to practice resignation,

unless it was quite necessary.

I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life,

to live so sturdily and spartan-like as to put to rout all that was not life.

Are You a Struggling Gardener?

by Cindy Wood Realty Group

Whether or not you were born with a green thumb, it is safe to say that a pristine looking lawn adds something special to the overall look of your home. No one wants to pull up to their home with brown grass and dying flowers. In an article titled, "What to Plant When Your Thumb is More Brown than Green," Jaymi Naciri quotes, "' Many of us have trouble keeping plants alive in our garden, and have quite the 'black thumb.' Either we are too busy to maintain them, or our gardens have issues that make it difficult; hot, dry sites, poor soil or bad weather, said The Garden Glove. 'Don't let that stop you from growing flowers! There is hope for even the most murderous of gardeners... you can grow flowers and you can plant them today and trust they will still be there next year and the year after that.'"

Naciri suggests a few plants and flowers that are low-maintainance for the struggling gardener.

  • Lantana
  • Aloe
  • Thyme
  • Mandevilla
  • Catmint
  • Crepe Myrtle
  • Yarrow

Gratitude

by Cindy Wood Realty Group

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life.

It turns what we have into enough.

And more.

It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity.

It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.

Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.
